Ceren Necipoglu Istanbul International Harp Festival is held in cherished memory of Ceren Necipoglu, who dedicated her life to the art of the harp. The festival also aims to carry forward her educational mission of sharing and learning, to inspire young musicians in exploring new horizons, and to contribute to the development of harp culture in Turkey.
The first edition of this international festival was held in 2020. Its second edition took place between January 14–19, 2025, at the iconic Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) in the mesmerizing city of Istanbul, where the Asian and European Continents come together. AKM is a world-class cultural complex featuring concert halls with exceptional acoustics, new spaces such as the Multi-Purpose Hall and Music Platform located on Culture Street, as well as galleries, cinemas, a library, dining venues, and much more to art lovers of all ages and backgrounds.
