ANASTASSIA RAZVALYAEVA (HUNGARY)

Living in Budapest, Anastasia Razvalyaeva divides her time between performing and teaching. She began learning the harp with her mother, Natalia Gorbunova, then continued her studies with Melinda Felletár at the Liszt Ferenc Conservatory in Szeged, and in 2011 she gained a Masters' Diploma at the Liszt Academy in Budapest under the guidance of Andrea Vigh. In 2019 Anastasia earned her Doctor of Liberal Arts degree.

Amongst her achievements are numerous performances as soloist with Hungarian symphonic orchestras, national and international solo and chamber music competitions, as well as Hungarian acknowledgements and scholarships. In 2020 Anastasia received Kult50 Award for performing Schubert’s songcycle „Winterreise” with soprano Emőke Baráth at the Liszt Academy. She enjoys collaborating with composers and takes part in numerous contemporary projects, such as Duo SeRa saxophone and harp duo, commissioning new pieces. Her experimental trio project with jazz musicians, Veronika Harcsa and Márton Fenyvesi released an album, Debussy NOW! in 2021.

Anastasia has been teaching since 2012 at the Liszt Academy and since 2020 at the Szent István Király Special Music Highschool. She has given masterclasses at Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (2017, 2023) and at Zagreb Academy of Music (2021). Anastasia is a keen organizer of cultural events in Hungary: she is the artistic director of the International Harp Competition in Szeged and has been organizing educational projects for young harpists in Hungary, such masterclasses, workshops and concerts.
