FLORENCE SITRUK (GERMANY)

Florence Sitruk of Southern Germany has internationally formed some of the most influential students of their generation: 15 years serving the faculty of Geneva Haute Ecole de Music, followed by Indiana University of Music, Bloomington/USA, she also taught as a professor of harp in Vilnius/Lithuania, Tokyo Tech University and Cracow Academy of Music since 2014.

Herself a student of Marielle Nordmann, Susann McDonald and György Sebök, she is a passionate chamber musician and has been an invited soloist throughout 36 countries so far. She has performed as a soloist and recitalist across Europe, Australia, Asia, and North and South America with leading orchestras. She has given the world premieres of works
by composers such as Israeli Ami Maayani, German Detlev Glanert, Hungarians György Kurtag and Ferenc Farkas, and Maltese Albert Pace, among others. Her repertoire spans the time from early renaissance music to the leading composers of today, and she is passionate about intelligent and communicative concert programming.

In the concert season 24/25, she is the invited artist at the Vilnius Philharmonic, Padernello Festival Italy, and returns to Kairo Conservatory of Music, where she debuted her international concert life at age 15.
